Now for Project Number 2
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008Project number is a little more quirky for me. The quirk lies in having the tools and experience in taking a part a complicated four stroke motor like my street bike’s. I got a 1998 Yamaha YZF R1000. A few goodies have been worked in like a milled head (14:1 compression), Full Akropovic Exhaust, chain/sprocket modifications and a few other high performance goodies. If you can all think back to summer 2006, that is when my dilema or ‘quirk’ began. I had been experiencing abnormal behavior from my motor. (more…)
